Project Manager

We are to be recruiting for a Demolition Project Manager with specific experience in large scale industrial dismantling / demolition projects (specifically COMAH sites) on projects in the northwest of England.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing complex demolition projects on top tier COMAH sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the ender user planning the dismantling and demolition of the industrial plants, producing the required SSoW ahead of the contractor’s full mobilisation.
• Responsible for overseeing the execution of a large-scale industrial project working on a highly hazardous site.
• Be the primary point of contact from pre-start meetings with client to completion and final project sign off.
• Onsite management responsibilities for demolition project.
• Responsibility to plan works, identify and implement works processes.
• Responsible for the production of SSoW i.e RAMS etc.
• Management of all site staff and subcontractors.
• Responsible for project completion with full time and budget understanding.
• Management of client expectations and requirements.
• Liaise with site engineers to ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
• Ensure all works are carried out to the highest possible standards.
• QEHS must be at the forefront and will proactively promote safety culture of the highest standards.

Skills and experience

• Civil/structural/mechanical engineering/project management
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience on industrial demolition projects.
• Experience in Project Planning, Cost Management, Quality Management, Safety Management.
• Extensive experience of demolition Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Relevant demolition qualifications (eg; CCDO Black Card)
• Appointed person – desirable
• Member of the IDE – desirable
• Able to produce dismantling/demolition models for inclusion in SSoW – desirable

Package being offered:-

• Outside of IR35
• Excellent hourly or day rate – negotiable depending on skills and experience
